Obituary of Audrey Louise Dowty
Audrey Louise Dowty, age 81, of Milladore, entered into her eternal life on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at her home with her family by her side.
Audrey was born on March 21, 1935 in Rosemount, MN to Arthur and Beulah (Hudson) Busch. Audrey married Raymond Dowty on March 29, 1975 in Waukesha, WI. Audrey was employed as a secretary for the Waukesha County Courthouse. After leaving her position at the courthouse Audrey started a daycare in Mukwonago where she opened her heart and home to children for over ten years. After retirement Ray and Audrey relocated to Milladore, WI.
Words alone cannot describe the loving and compassionate nature of Audrey. Her family was the most important thing in her world, she was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Audrey touched the lives and hearts of so many people, she enjoyed making new friends and never passed an opportunity to make a person's day a little better with a kind word, a shared smile or a prayer. She enjoyed keeping in contact with her family and friends via Facebook and emails. She was the founder of Sowing Seeds of Peace Prayer Club and Audrey's Friends and Family Recipes Group. Audrey leaves behind a legacy of love and will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Audrey is survived by her husband Ray, children: Scott (Heather) Wasson, Jim (Pam) Wasson, Pat (Jim) Jerzak; step-children: Gidget Looper and Dawn Dowty; grandchildren: Jennifer, Cecelia and LaTrenda Carter, Jamie, Jimmy, and Johnny Jerzak, Adam Wasson, Max, Logan and Angelina Wasson, Kayla and Justin Kingery, Zachery Dowty, Renee, J.T. and Josh Looper, Jacob and Tim Hespe and Hilary Rein; many great-grandchildren; sister Elaine (Johnnie) Weekley; aunt Velma Miner; sisters-in-law: Shirley Busch, Gloria Dowty and Laura Bannach; brothers-in-law: Bob, Eugene (Virgina), Paul (Pam) and Jim ( Louise) Dowty as well as many other cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Beulah and Arthur Busch, brothers Irvin and Freddie Busch and several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
