Obituary of Beverly Joyce Mercer

Beverly “Bev” J. Mercer, 78, of Rome, WI, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2020. As were her wishes, there will be no public visitation or services. Beverly was born June 19, 1941 in Kewanee, Illinois to Glenn and Norma (Routt) Milburn. Bev was known as a hard worker to anyone who knew her, that was especially evident during the years, she and Jess worked side by side building a successful sealcoating business, which they provided a quality service to their loyal customers. Bev loved to bake for her family and shared that talent generously. She was especially fond of her four-legged family members and cared deeply for all of her animals. Bev is survived by her husband, Jesse; her children: Kim (Gary) Holmes of Rushville, IL; Kent Frick of Janesville, WI; Kevin (Mary) Frick of Nekoosa, WI; Jacquie Duchnowski of Rushville, IL; and Jamie Stickney of Nekoosa, WI; her grandchildren: Travis Holmes, Justin Duchnowski, Kara (Andy) Happekotte, Nicole (Pete) Grande, Tyler Frick, Alex Frick, and Noah Stickney; and her five great-grandchildren; she is further survived by her siblings: John (Sue) Milburn and Glenna (Jim) Setzer, all of Oswego, IL. In addition to her parents, Bev is preceded in death by her brothers, Glenn Milburn and Gary Milburn. Bev is loved and will be deeply missed.
