Obituary of Sherry Lynn Burroughs

Sherry Lynn Burroughs, age 64, of Wisconsin Rapids, went in peace at Atrium Post Acute Care on Sunday, August 25, 2019.

Services will be at 12:00 P.M. on Friday, August 30, 2019 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home. Burial will take place at the Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, August 30, 2019 beginning at 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.taylorfuneralhome.net.

Sherry was born January 15, 1955 in Peoria, IL to Robert and Wilma (Fulk) Brown.  She married Ronnie Burroughs. She was a friend to all and loved by everyone she met. Sherry was known as “Momma” by many of her children’s friends because she treated them like family. She loved collecting dolphins, angels, and horses. Sherry enjoyed doing crafts, cooking, and drawing; which led to both of her sons becoming artists themselves.  She had a heart of gold that just wasn’t strong enough to win the battle she faced.  Though our hearts are broken, with her gone, we know that she is in a better place.

Sherry is survived by her spouse, Albert Hudson; her sons, Teddy (Danielle) Brown and Paul Burroughs; her grandchildren: Robbi Iverson, Corena Iverson, Zachary Brown, Michael Murphy, Zachery Hayes, Trinity Brown, Rialy Brown, Aryah Brown, Cable Brown, and Marshall Murphy; and her brother, Greg Brown. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Tonja M. Burroughs; her brother, Gary Fulk; her great-aunt and great-uncles.

Special mention goes out to Sarah John and Emilia with whom she loved like family.  Also a special expression of thanks to Sandy Hamann for everything she has done throughout the years.
