David was born May 25, 1933 at Milwaukee County Hospital in Wauwatosa, WI to Albert and Mary (Horigan) Stockmann, Sr.  He grew up in Milwaukee’s south side – Walker’s Point. David graduated from the Lynde and Harry Bradley Technology and Trade School of Milwaukee. He honorably served his country in the United States Army. On February 7, 1959, David married the love of his life, Claudine Vandervort at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.  They were blessed with nearly 60 years of cherished memories together.

He worked for Allen-Bradley for 36 years, until his retirement in 1992. David enjoyed fishing, pheasant hunting, wood working, locksmith, bowling, and movies.  He and the family travelled extensively throughout the United States. If a man can count his accomplishments by the number of friends you have, David was truly blessed!  He is truly loved and will be deeply missed.

David is survived by his loving wife, Claudine; his children: Allen Stockmann and Arlys Stockmann; his grandchildren: Karen, Tabitha, Keanu, and Ben; and his great-grandchildren: Lavin and Jaxon.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert Sr. and Mary Stockmann; his brothers: Albert Stockmann, Jr., Stanley Stockmann, and Fletcher Stockmann; and his sister, Alice Tevz.

The family requests that memorials be designated to the Shriner’s Hospitals and Burn Centers.
