Obituary of Diane Lee Larsen

Diane L. Larsen, age 70, of Wisconsin Rapids, walked into the arms of Jesus on Monday, August 20, 2018.

Visitation for family and friends, will take place on Friday, August 24, 2018 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home. Visitation will also be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church in Wisconsin Rapids. Pastor Jonathan Jenks will officiate a memorial service at 11:00 A.M.  A private family burial will take place at Camp Douglas Cemetery.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.taylorfuneralhome.net.

Diane was born on January 7, 1948 in Sparta, WI to Wayne and Catherine (Crook) Neustadter. She attended Tomah High School and received her nursing degree in Madison. Diane resided in Wisconsin Rapids for over 45 years with her husband, Don.  She dedicated her life to raising her children, Derek and Dacia.

For all that were blessed to have a friendship with Diane, she gave selflessly of her time, her incredible talents, and love.  Diane could light up a room with her quick wit and sense of humor.  She also cherished time with her family. Diane was a mom that would drop anything to be present for her children and grandchildren. We have comfort knowing she is rejoicing, wrapped in the arms of her Heavenly Father and Dad.

Diane is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Don; their children: Derek (Lori) Larsen and Dacia (Seth) Hopfensperger; their three grandchildren, Rece, Elle, and Austin; her mother Catherine Neustadter; her brother Gary (Kris) Neustadter; and nephew Garth. She is preceded in death by her father, Wayne Neustadter.
