Obituary of Kathryn Bowden

Kathryn A. Bowden, 72, of Mosinee, formerly of Pittsville, passed away on Tuesday evening, July 10, 2018, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

She was born on Oct. 28, 1945, in Adams. She was raised by her adoptive parents, the late Carl and Gertrude (Meitner) Heuer, and was a graduate of Pittsville High School. On Nov. 6, 1965, she was married to Elton Bowden in Pittsville. He passed away on Oct. 5, 2014.

Kathryn had worked at Associated Bank and Piggly Wiggly. She enjoyed crafting, knitting, crocheting, gardening and going to rummage sales.

Survivors include her son, Anthony (Annette) Bowden; daughters, Theresa Hoff and Susanne (Robert) Feit; grandsons, Andrew and Keith Bowden; granddaughter, Mara Maguire; brother, John (Maryellen) Heuer; niece, Erinnisse Rebisz; and her three grand-dogs, Teddy, Polly and Zoe.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 16, 2018, at the Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, with the Rev. Douglas Schalow officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery, Pittsville. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
