Obituary of Daniel Weigel

Daniel L. Weigel, 69, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018, while under the care of Ministry Hospice.

He was born on June 23, 1948, in Wisconsin Rapids, to the late Henry and Wilma (Miller) Weigel and was a graduate of Lincoln High School.

Dan was an equipment operator at Engelnook Cranberry Marsh and he loved NASCAR and NHRA racing.

Survivors include his son, Shawn Weigel and family; daughter, Jennifer Weigel and family; sisters, Marjory Morrison, Ellen Lanener, Arleigh LaBarge and Trixie Russell; brothers, Mike and John Weigel.

In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by his brothers, Hank, William and Ronnie Weigel; and sister, Ruth Mary Korslin.
