Mike you taught me valuable lessons and life skills that helped shape the person I am today and I will continue to extend that knowledge to future generations in your memory. Thank you Mike, for being there.

I am so sorry for your loss, please accept my sincere condolences. May the God of all comfort sustain you as you await the promises found at John 5:28,29 and Rev. 21:4 where God promises to do away with all the things that cause us suffering and pain including death here on the earth forever. (Psalm 37:29) It is my sincere hope that these thoughts comfort your family at this time.

I'm sorry about your lost. You and your family have my condolences.
Just know now, He is in a better place, No more hurt or pain shall he face.
It seems unfair, and yes, this is true, but he is in Heaven now watching over me and you!
God has called him home to rest! And he's being well taken care of Because God knows best!

Mike and his family were our neighbors on Seneca Road in Wisconsin Rapids for many years while the kids were all growing up. We had so many fun times together when we all got our horses. It was hilarious watching all of us greenhorns learn how to saddle up, bridle a horse, adjust the stirrups and try not to fall off! Thankfully, we all had John Schultz and Orvie Schroeder to be our mentors. We survived the early stages of learning how to feed and care for our horses... and catch them when they got out, and our kids went on to compete in the Little Britches Rodeos. We had many good times and learning experiences during those days. Mike was always available to give a hand whenever and whereever you needed him. Because we had the same last name, we went to many events at the school that weren't OUR kids! I would get a call from the school that Kristie was going to be in something or other and I would tell them my daughter was Kacy, they had the wrong Phillips. Mike would get a call from the coach that he was late for wrestling practice and he would say, "You better call Gail, that's her son Mike." We laughed and shared many good times. He was well loved by many, and will be missed. I was glad to have known him.
