Obituary of Dennis Zellner

Dennis P. Zellner, 69, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017, at the Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

He was born on June 18, 1948, in Milwaukee, to the late Peter and Delores (Dorhorst) Zellner and was a 1966 graduate of Pittsville High School. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War from 1967 to 1970.

Dennis had worked in maintenance for the City of Pittsville for 28 years, then worked for Fahrner Asphalt Sealers in Plover for five years before retiring. His interests included fishing and hunting.

Survivors include his son, Brian (Jennifer) Zellner of Cumming, Georgia; grandchildren, Jason and Elizabeth; brothers, David (Marcia), Mike (Candy) and Douglas Zellner; sisters, Jan (Randy) Kaiser and Jean (Marv) Schiller; and many nephews and nieces.

In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his sister, Diane Kraus; and brothers, Tom and Don Zellner.
