Obituary of Lisa Marie Irwin

Lisa Marie Irwin, age 51, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at her residence. Services will be at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, December 2, 2016 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home. Lisa was born May 30, 1965 in Rhinelander, WI to Jerome and Janet (Day) Piasecki. She grew up in Rhinelander and Merrill and graduated from Florence High School. Lisa married Greg Irwin on April 13, 2007 in Wisconsin Rapids. She worked as a housekeeper at the Hotel Mead in Wisconsin Rapids. Lisa had a big heart and an ever present smile. She loved to fish and camp with Greg. She was an excellent cook. She enjoyed playing games on her smart phone and was the self-proclaimed “Farmville Expert”. She looked forward to chocolate-covered cherries at Christmas time. Lisa had a love of animals; especially her cats: Boink, Lucy, Corona and Lucky who she referred to as her “babies”. Lisa is survived by her husband, Greg; parents, Jerome and Janet; sons: Paul Robbins, Jake Robbins and Steven Garner; step-sons: Kody, Kasey, Kiley and Kolt Irwin; five grandchildren; brother, Al Piasecki; sisters: Sue, Pam, Michelle, Sara and Jenny; brother-in-law, Danny Irwin; sisters-in-law: Kathleen Plucinski, Susan O’Shasky and Connie Novak; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Carol and Gordon Irwin; and a nephew, Zachary Badker.
