Obituary of Darin Ronald Storlie

Darin Ronald Storlie, age 37, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away, Friday, November 18, 2016 at his home, surrounded by his loving family and friends, after a courageous battle with cancer. A memorial service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Memorial visitation will take place on Tuesday, from 9:00 A.M until the time of services at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.taylorfuneralhome.net. Darin was born November 8, 1979 in LaCrosse, WI to Ronald and Helen (Flattum) Storlie. His passions were his family and friends. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and the Minnesota Vikings on television. Darin liked to work on small engines. He especially looked forward to taking cross-country rides with his brothers. He is loved and will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. Darin is survived by his mother, Helen Bjerke; siblings: Randy (Krista) Storlie, Terry Storlie, Corey Storlie, and Kelly Patton; nieces and nephews: Trisha Storlie (Chris Lesnar), Stefanie Rud, Mike Rud, Sam Storlie, Daisha Storlie, Bentley Storlie, Ava Patton, and Alex Patton; great-nieces and nephews: Leven, Ander, Graham, and Greenley; along with countless friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
