Obituary of William Havrey Firth Sr.

William Harvey Firth, Sr., age 86, of Wisconsin Rapids passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by family on October 31, 2016. A private graveside service will be held for family at the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Herman-Taylor Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. William was born on January 14, 1930 in Hancock, Wisconsin to Robert and Mary (Evans) Firth. William married Beverly Dye and was blessed with 3 children: Tina, William, and Kevin. The marriage later ended in divorce. William was employed by Ocean Spray Cranberry for many years as a marsh worker. William loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will always be remembered for his jokes and sense of humor. In his free time he also enjoyed reading books, playing cards and watching TV. William is survived by three children: Tina (Paul) Soderberg, William (Sarah) Firth Jr., and Kevin Firth Sr. Fifteen grandchildren: Matthew, Taylor, Chandler, Jesse, Michelle, Tiffany, Willa, Elizabeth, Brandon, Ashley, Dan, Morgan, Kevin Jr., Jakob and Elliott. He is also survived by his faithful furry companion, Maisy May. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert Firth, and grandson Chaston Firth.
