Obituary of Philip George Eimerman

Philip George Eimerman, age 94, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids. Rev. Timothy Wenger will officiate. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of services at the church. Herman-Taylor Funeral Home is assisting the family. Philip was born on July 28, 1921 in Eau Pleine, WI to George and Beatrice (Bulgrin) Eimerman. He married Eleanor Hetze on June 5, 1945 in the town of Sherry, WI. Philip was employed by Preway, Inc. in Wisconsin Rapids until his retirement. Philip was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He was an avid Milwaukee Brewer fan and also enjoyed watching Green Bay Packer games and NASCAR races. Philip and Eleanor enjoyed traveling together and Polka dances. Philip was a faithful member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church and its Veterans of the Cross group. Philip is survived by his wife, Eleanor; three children: Carol (Ray) Jacob, Allen (Theresa) Eimerman, and Dale (Patricia) Eimerman; six grandchildren: Tammy (Gregg) Schroeder, Korey (Erika) Jacob, Patrick (Lindsay) Eimerman, Christopher Eimerman, Jason Eimerman, and Lisa Eimerman, granddaughter-in-law Colleen Eimerman and five great-grandchildren: Jeremy Nelson, Kaleb Jacob, Gavin Jacob, Reese Eimerman and Wyatt Eimerman. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Bradley Eimerman, sister Faye Klingbail, daughter-in-law Lori Eimerman, and many sisters and brothers-in-law. Philip's family would like to thank Ministry Home Care Hospice for their compassion and care and the ministry team at St. Luke's Lutheran Church for all of their visits and prayers.
