Paige was in my preschool class last year. I remembered something today. She would always play with either a cream colored toy horse or the stuffed animal dolphin everyday. I asked her one day if she ever rode one, she said no but I want to. I loved her smile and beautiful enthusiasm for life.

Amanda, my heart is with you. I will never forget Paige always talking to me when you lived next door or my last evenings before you moved, sitting around the fire pit roasting marshmallows , sandwich pies, and Paige calling me grandma. Such a precious little girl who made me smile. Devon wasn't born yet. Then meeting him later when you came back to Davenport. He was a robust active boy that did not want to sit still for a moment and i chuckled at how he was going to keep you on your toes. I am sure these two angels will be with you always, not only in heart but in spirit. My heart goes out to you and all the family.

Our last memory of Paige and Devon is from Easter Sunday. They were both so cute and played so nice with their cousins. Uncle Dan called the kids Bob and Clyde, Paige thought it was very funny. We will cherish the goodbye hugs we got that day, not knowing it would be the last time we would see them. They are in heaven now, Great Grandma Shirley will be looking out for them.
