Obituary of Heather Markworth

Heather Dawn Markworth, 38, 1331 Norton Street, Wisconsin Rapids, passed away early Tuesday morning, November 8, 2011 at her home. Services will be at 11:00 am on Friday, November 11 at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Rev. John Grohs and Rev. Timothy Ritter will officiate. Entombment will be in Forest Hill Mausoleum. Heather was a true blessing to all, bringing an abundance of joy and happiness to everyone she met. Her beautiful outlook on life taught others compassion, love, and understanding, and instilled the true meaning of family in her loved ones. Heather always brought out the best in others and was truly an angel on earth. She was attending Connections Day Services where she touched many lives. She loved sharing her time and talents with her family, especially her best buddy, Caity. She is survived by her parents: Ron and Donna Markworth; brother: Rev. Gary (Paula) Markworth, Iron River, Michigan, and their children: Shane, Matt (Kendra), and Chad (Charity) Markworth; sister: Cheryl (Duane) Spinler, Wisconsin Rapids and their children: Candace (Aaron) Slattery, Casey (Frank) Fischer and Caity; brother: Greg (Kris) Markworth, Onalaska, and their children: Drew, Ben and Erin Markworth; brother-in-law: George Krug, Vesper and his children: Jennifer (Jason) Melville, Renee (David) Wilson and Eric (Emily) Krug; god parents Marilyn Foley and Rev. Gary Markworth; great nieces and nephews: Brooke, Sarah, Hannah, Jacob, Cohen, and Makenna. She was preceded in death by her sister: Cynde Krug; and her grandparents: Victor and Sophia Markworth and Don and Dorothy Plowman. Friends may call at the church from 9:30-11:00 am on Friday. Taylor, Vollert and Jennings Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. The family would like to express a sincere thank you to Connections Day Services, Opportunity, Inc. and all of the special caregivers at Innovative Services, Aspirus VNA and Mary Jo and Tina with Community Care who treated Heather like their own. Thank you Pastors John Grohs and Timothy Ritter for the many visits and prayers you extended to the family and Heather.
