Obituary of Carol Jeffery

Carol J. Jeffery, 75, 311 Canal Street, Wisconsin Rapids, died November 30, 2011 at Riverview Medical Center. Services will be at 1:30 pm on Monday, December 5 at St. Paul?s Lutheran Church. Rev. Martin Baur will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Carol was born in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin on August 11, 1936 to Reinhold and Alice (Brown) Kroll. She married Thomas Jeffery on February 19, 1955 in Wisconsin Rapids. She was a member of St. Paul?s Lutheran Church. Carol liked to play cards, read her favorite books, and sit in the kitchen and watch the birds with Tom. She especially enjoyed cooking for her family and spending time with them during the evening meals. She also enjoyed the picnics the family shared. Survivors include her husband, Thomas; 2 daughters: Susan (Mark) Johnson, Wisconsin Rapids and Ann (Mark) Suhr, Hutchinson, Minnesota; son, Daniel Jeffery, Milwaukee, Wisconsin and brother-in law Richard (Bernie) Jeffery; 7 grandchildren; sister: Kay (Pete) Hansen, Waupan, Wisconsin; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter: Jean Mayrens; sisters: Joan Worlund and Jeanine Sheffer; niece, Linda Sheffer. Friends may call at Taylor, Vollert and Jennings Funeral Home from 4-7 pm on Sunday, December 4 and Monday at the church from 12:30 pm until the time of services.
