Obituary of Dela Jaworski
Dela Irene Jaworski, 85, 2230 14th Street South, Wisconsin Rapids, died late Friday, December 16th 2011 at the Harmony Living Center under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice.
Services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 23rd, 2011 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church (750 10th Avenue South, Wisconsin Rapids). Father Paul Hoffman will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park.
Del was born February 18, 1926 in Smoky Spur to the late Nick and Agnes (Pehowski) Shulfer. She married Daniel Jaworski on September 25, 1950 in Fancher. The happy couple celebrated 26 years together prior to Daniel?s death on April 9, 1977.
Del was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who loved nothing more than to spend time with her family. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, needlework and polka dancing. Del also enjoyed fishing and picking strawberries throughout much of her life.
Survivors include her beloved children, Christopher (Arlene) Jaworski of Sun Prairie, Wayne (Diane) Jaworski of Town of Grand Rapids and Nancy (Dan) Ziolkowski of Muskego; grandchildren, Beth Jaworski, Michael Jaworski, James Jaworski, Nicholas Ziolkowski, Christopher Ziolkowski and Benjamin Ziolkowski; sisters-in-law, Thelma Shulfer and Genevieve Shulfer; a nephew and many nieces, extended family, friends and her beloved dog, Nigel. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Eugene Shulfer and Norbert Shulfer.
Friends may call at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Church from 9:30 AM to the time of service on Friday, December 23, 2011.
