Obituary of Constance Johnson

Constance ?Connie? M. Johnson, town of Saratoga, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday morning, January 21, 2012. Connie was born February 13, 1936 in Wisconsin Rapids to Casper and Ilene (Glebke) Wilson. She married Keith Johnson in 1965 in Menomonie, Wisconsin. She worked as a line operator at Ore-Ida Foods until her retirement. Connie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She had a special love of small animals and Arabian horses. She was a very talented knitter and seamstress, a talent she passed on to her daughter, Cheryll. Connie was also an amazing cook. She is survived by her husband, Keith; 2 daughters, Cheryll (Fred) Kronholm-Athorp of Ketchikan, Alaska and Melita (Michael) Barrett of Wisconsin Rapids; and a very special granddaughter, Shannon. She was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25th, at Taylor, Vollert and Jennings Funeral Home. A service of remembrance with family and friends will conclude the evening at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to the South Wood County Humane Society.
