Obituary of Michelle Duchow

Michelle Gay Duchow, 48, Wisconsin Rapids, died Sunday, February 12, 2012 at her home. A memorial visitation will take place from 4:00 PM ? 7:00 PM on Friday, February 17 at Taylor, Vollert and Jennings Funeral Home, Wisconsin Rapids. Michelle was born on August 5, 1963 in Wisconsin Rapids to the late Richard and Selma (Krzykowski) O?Keefe. She married Roy Duchow on February 21, 1986 in Wisconsin Rapids and they welcomed the birth of their son, Jake. Michelle worked as a landscaper for Grounds Detail Services for many years. She enjoyed mud trucks, working in her garage and ice fishing in her free time. Michelle was affectionately known as ?Ma? by not only her son Jake, but also by all of his friends. At home, she loved her cats and enjoyed spending time working in her garden and landscaping around the house. Survivors include her husband, Roy; son, Jake Duchow of Wisconsin Rapids; brothers, Roger O?Keefe and Dale (Lisa) O?Keefe; sisters, Sandra Komatowski, Yvonne Hanson, Bridget (Paul) Kelnhofer and Pamela (Eric) Schmidt; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Anita Larson.
