Obituary of Joseph Clementi

Joseph Raymond Clementi, 80, of 930 11th Street So., Wisconsin Rapids, died February 25, 2012 at the Wisconsin Rapids Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Services will be at 12:00 noon on Friday, March 2nd at Calvary Baptist Church. Rev. Jonathan Jenks will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Joseph was born in Milwaukee on September 3, 1931 to Sam and Rose (Cusimano) Clementi. He served his country in the Army. Joseph worked for Briggs and Stratton for 36 years until his retirement. Joseph accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at the age of 78, which led him to love the churches he attended. He especially enjoyed the ?Senior Saints? group at Brookside Baptist Church and the ?Hill Toppers? group at Calvary Baptist Church. Another joy of his life was spending time with his family. Joseph is survived by his children: Don (Marilyn) Clementi and Dave (Margie) Clementi; grandchildren: Tony (Stephanie) Clementi, Danny Clementi , Michael (Diana) Clementi, Jennifer (Kevin) Huck and Corissa (David) Donley; great-grandchildren: J.D., Landon, Addisen, Clayton, Kaili and Jordon; sister: Josie (Nick Shaw) Romano; and various other nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Sam and Rose (Cusimano) Clementi; brothers and sisters: Steve (Dorothy) Clementi, Tony (Maimie) Clementi, Angie Clementi, Antonia Clementi and Rose Ramano. Friends may call at Taylor, Vollert and Jennings Funeral Home from 5pm to 7pm on Thursday, and at the church on Friday from 11:00 am until the time of services.
