Obituary of Vivian Bartotto
On a beautiful morning, March 3, 2012, snowflakes were gently falling when the Lord called Vivian Elmere Bartotto, 94, of Strawberry Lane, Wisconsin Rapids, WI to her heavenly home.
Services will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, March 12th at Taylor, Vollert and Jennings Funeral Home. Pastor Charles Bradbury of the First Baptist Church of Wisconsin Rapids will be officiating. Friends may call at the Taylor, Vollert and Jennings Funeral Home from 12:00 noon until the time of services on Monday. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Bancroft, WI.
Vivian was born in Bancroft, Wisconsin on September 13, 1917 to George Sr. and Ruth Ann (Cummings) Nigh. She married Felix R. Bartotto Jr. on November 18, 1936 in Bancroft. He passed away April 10, 1976.
Vivian was an Agent and the Camp Secretary for the Modern Woodman Insurance Co. for many years. Her office was located in her home, which made it convenient for her to pursue her hobbies of knitting and crocheting.
She is survived by her 4 children: C. Sallie Kurth, Elveta R. Joslin both of Wisconsin Rapids; Beverly J. (Jim) Bates of Tampa, Florida and Felix R. (June) Bartotto III of Earlville, Illinois; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Vivian was preceded in death by her daughter, Zelma Ann.
Memorials may be designated to the ?Activities Department? of Strawberry Lane Medical and Rehabilitation Center of Wisconsin Rapids, WI.
