Marvin was always a dear uncle - and a favorite friend. A voice of reason, someone I admired for his ability to combine family, the outdoors, and a successful business life and find time for community service too. A true role model. I did my first sailboat race with him (I was the crew) and we won the very first race! It started a life long passion for sailing and racing in me. I skied with him on the river in winter, and always wished he could visit me in Idaho, and then Oregon - but I understood that with 4 daughters of his own, he had other much more important priorities. My deepest condolences to my favorite Aunt Gloria, and to Dea, Lisa,Sarah and Amy.

My condolences to the Bocaner family. I became acquainted with Marvin when we had our bathrooms renovated. He was so helpful, and made sure everything was exactly to our liking. You have my sincere sympathy.

Dear GloriaSorry about your great loss. Brings me back down memory lane. Marvin was a "cool dude" before that phrase was probably used. And I remember indeed his beautiful wife growing up on 8th Street (when it was tree covered and so stately) and also being a classmate at Model School. May God's peace and health be yours. We will not be back in WR very often now since Mom passed away in December...but memories linger, in fact become stronger as the decades dance down the road.WarmlyPaul Koeshall

Hello Gloria and Family, You have our Sympathy. Marv and I shared some High School Classes and had respect for him and his Strong Capabilities. Your parents became friends with my parents during their younger years. Love, Bev Malek, Harmsen
