William Clement Weber, 76, of 1530 First St. N., Wisconsin Rapids, died Monday, April 30, 2012, at his home. Funeral services will be 6 p.m. Friday at Taylor, Vollert and Jennings Funeral Home. The Rev. Bill Beaton will officiate. Military rites will be provided by VFW Post 2534. Burial will be at a later date in Forest Hill Cemetery. William was born in the Town of Sherry, Wood County, Sept. 4, 1935, to Claude and Ethel Mae (Hank) Weber. He was previously married to Dorothy Weber (Champagne) who preceded him in death. He married Lila Wave Weber (Testermon) in November 1969. She also preceded him in death. In November 1979 he married Trula Weber-Worley (Lewis); they divorced after seven years but remained friends. William was employed by the Arpin Dairy as an electrician. He was a member and former president of the Eagles Club for many years. William served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War as a fire and arms technician. He loved to build things out of wood, fish when he was able and tinker in the garage every extra moment he could find. He was an avid Packer and Chicago Bear fan, and enjoyed playing the game himself. William liked to swap stories with other people; of course his story was always bigger and better (according to him). William is survived by his children, Karolyn Weber (Rusty Neuman) and Mark Weber (Carrie); stepchildren, Cathy Fitzgerald (Jeff) and Randy Finley (Wendy); grandchildren, Jennifer (Tim) Concklin, Lindsey (Josh) Wilke, Brittner Weber (David Lutz), Nickolas Hardwick, Dakota Neuman, Josh (Joann) Finley, Gabe Finley, Brandon (Amanda) Williams, Caleb, Finley, Chesson Finley, Rory (Miki) Fitzgerald, Kelly Fitzgerald, Megan (Mark) Kimpton, Adam (Tina) Andreasen, and Kristopher Hattery; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Kohnen; nephews, Richard (Connie) Weber, Mike Weber and Lonnie Weber; and special friend, Betty Trickle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Ether Weber; brother, Richard (Jeanette) Weber; son, Billy Weber; brother-in-law, Jim Kohnen; stepson, Michael Finley; wife, Dorothy Weber; wife, Lila Wave Weber; and aunt, Ellen Tuxhorn. Friends may call 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at Taylor, Vollert and Jennings Funeral Home. William's family would like to extend a special thank you to: Nettie, Marty, Jeanette, Laurie and Tiffani for their love and support, for being there any time of the day or night and for their wonderful friendship.
