Obituary of Tory Oleson
Tory Ray Oleson, 25, Wisconsin Rapids, went home to be with God, Saturday, May 12, 2012.
Services will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids. Reverend Timothy Ritter will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in the Town of Grand Rapids.
Tory was born May 23, 1986 in Wisconsin Rapids to Jerry and Jan (Stainbrook) Oleson. He is a 2005 graduate of Lincoln High School. Tory was an awesome kid with a big heart always willing to help others. He loved to fish and loved baseball in all forms. Tory would watch games when he could, but his greatest love was pitching in the Legion Baseball League for the Ramblers and the Rangers. In addition to his love of baseball, Tory also deeply loved his family and his beloved dog, Bear who was very important in helping Tory get through his many struggles in life.
Survivors include his loving parents, Jerry and Jan (Stainbrook) Oleson; sister, Sarah (Joe) Williams; nephew and niece, Teagan and Zadie Williams; aunts and uncles, Diane (Bill) Reitz, Jean Oleson, Pat Joswick and Dale (Patty) Stainbrook; his beloved dog, Bear; and extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Raymond and Frances Oleson and maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Tillie Stainbrook.
Friends may call at Taylor, Vollert and Jennings Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Tuesday, May 15, and at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
God in his mercy has called Tory home to be at peace and rest away from the struggles in this life, to be at home with him in Heaven.
