Obituary of Timothy Turbin

Timothy "Turbs" Edward Turbin 51, Wisconsin Rapids, peacefully passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at the UW Hospital in Madison. Visitation will begin at 4:00 PM on Monday, June 11, lasting until 8:00 PM at Taylor, Vollert and Jennings Funeral Home, Wisconsin Rapids. There will be a private funeral at a later time. Burial will be at the Waub-Mee-Mee Cemetery. Tim was born December 11, 1960 in Wisconsin Rapids to the late John Edward and Marie Louise (Ballard) Turbin. He is a 1979 graduate of Lincoln High School. Tim married the love of his life, Debra Pidgeon, on May 6, 1989 on Powers Bluff, Arpin. Tim was a good man and husband whose big heart made an impression on all who met him. When not working for the City of Wisconsin Rapids as a truck driver, he could be usually found in his workshop tinkering on something mechanical. In his free time, Tim loved to go out camping, fishing, hunting, 4 wheeling and going out to shoot at the rifle range. He also had a great love for music and ran sound and worked as a roadie for the Whitewater Band during the early 1980?s. One of Tim?s greatest loves in his life was Harley Davidson motorcycles and it can truly be said that he was a man who bled black and orange, and a tinge of camouflage. Tim is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years, Debra; brothers, John (Cynde), James (Judy), Jere (Susan) and Patrick (Sara) all of Wisconsin Rapids; uncle, Sylvester Pliska of Stevens Point; brothers and sisters-in-law, James (Carol) Pidgeon, Fred (Germaine) Pidgeon and Annette Pidgeon; special nephews and niece, Fletcher and William Collins, James and Robert Pidgeon and Sarah Pidgeon; his faithfully dog, Dewey; and many extended family and friends. Tim would often remark that his ?day was not complete until he had helped somebody and made a difference in someone?s life?.
