Obituary of Julene Ann Hanneman

Julene Ann Hanneman, age 74, of Wisconsin Rapids, died Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Atrium Post -Acute Care in Wisconsin Rapids. Services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home. Rev. Kevin Ader will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until the time of services on Wednesday at the funeral home. Julene was born August 14, 1942 in Medford, WI to Lawrence and Pearl (Nichols) Ruesch. She married Gerald Hanneman in 1976. Julene was a school teacher and taught in the Loyal and Madison areas and at Nekoosa Middle School. Julene enjoyed golfing, dancing and mingling with people. She also enjoyed making and painting kiln fired pottery. She and Gerald loved spending time camping in northern Wisconsin and at their home in Florida. Julene also loved playing cribbage. Julene is survived by husband, Gerald; son, Rick (Lisa) Krueger of Minneapolis; step-sons: Doug (Kristy) Hanneman, Gary (Sue) Hanneman and Todd (Cherie) Hanneman, all of Wisconsin Rapids; grandchildren: Zach, Matthew, Katilyn, Holly, Justin, Jennifer, Ellen and Charlotte; and two brothers: Ken (Tia) Ruesch of Illinois and Brad (Starla) Ruesch of Medford. She was preceded in death by her parents.
