Obituary of Dakota Runyon

Dakota William Runyon, infant son of Robert and Lindsey Runyon of Wisconsin Rapids, was born to eternal life on July 3, 2012 at Ministry Saint Joseph?s Hospital in Marshfield. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, September 24th at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Rev. John Grohs and Rev. Timothy Ritter will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services on Monday at the church. Dakota is survived by his parents, Robert and Lindsey; two brothers, Robert and Dylan; one sister, Arianna; maternal grandparents, Rick Hedrick and Kathy (Jason) Zscherntiz; and maternal great-grandmothers, Elsie Hedrick and Donna Smith; and his aunts: Ashley (Dave) Schiefer, Rachael (Terry) Quigley, and Kristen Scheider. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Delisle Runyon and Florence McClane; maternal great-grandfathers, Edward Hedrick and Allen Carley, and paternal great-grandmother, Marian Gardner. We thank God who gives us eternal life through Jesus Christ and who knew Dakota in the words of Psalm 139: 13-16 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother?s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
