Obituary of David Papineau
David Allen Papineau, 56, of 410 16th Street South, Wisconsin Rapids, died unexpectedly Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at his residence.
Services will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 1st at Taylor, Vollert and Jennings Funeral Home. Rev. John Grohs will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of services on Saturday at the Funeral Home.
David was born in Wisconsin Rapids on December 13, 1955 to Louis and Elvera (Garbrecht) Papineau. He married Judy Fox on October 16, 1976 and they were blessed with two children. The marriage ended in divorce.
David started working in the grocery industry at the young age of 16 and remained as a faithful employee his entire life. He was employed throughout those years by IGA, Sentry Foods, Our Family Foods and Copps Food Center.
David?s children remember the good times they had go-carting at the Dells with their father. He was a devoted family man who loved his children and grandchildren. He also had a special relationship with his best friend, ?Cream Puff? the cat. In his spare time, David enjoyed bowling. He also was an avid Packer and NASCAR fan.
David is survived by his mother: Elvera Papineau, of Wisconsin Rapids; one son, Jeremy Papineau; one daughter, Jennifer (Steven) Koth, all of Wisconsin Rapids; friend and ex-wife, Judy Papineau of Platteville, Wisconsin; two grandchildren: Katelyn and Alexander Koth; and one brother, Larry (Gloria) Papineau of Wisconsin Rapids. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis and granddaughter, Christina.
