Obituary of Ronald Peterson
Ronald Alvin Peterson, 62, Wisconsin Rapids, died Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at Riverview Medical Center.
Services will be at 11:00 am on Friday, September 7th at Christian Life Fellowship Church in Port Edwards. Rev. Dean Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 6th from 4pm ? 8pm at Taylor, Vollert and Jennings Funeral Home, and at the church on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of services.
Ronald was born in Wisconsin Rapids on December 5, 1949 to the late Alvin and Mary (Rapacz) Peterson.
Ronald was a hard working man who enjoyed helping others. He was employed by Consolidated Papers Company as a supervisor, plowed snow during the winter months, and was the owner/operator of Rapids Express Shuttle Service.
Ronald was a private man with a giving, loving heart for his family. He enjoyed sharing his gifts and talents with others any time he was able. A few of his favorite past times included working on cars and projects around the home. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, taking care of his dogs, going to car shows, 4 wheeling up north with his friends, and going to the local car and NASCAR races.
Ronald is survived by his children: Lori (Jeff) Hoag, Sun Prairie, WI; Teresa (Brad) Fogarty, Spring Valley, WI; Jeremy Peterson, Wausau, WI; siblings: Bryan (Karen) Peterson; Rhonda Peterson, all of Nekoosa, WI; grandchildren: Megan and Melody Hoag; Jared, Brett and Jon Fogarty; James and Danielle Peterson and extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard, and grandson, Zachary Hoag.
