Obituary of LeRoy Kiesling

LeRoy O. Kiesling Jr., 56, of Rudolph, died Friday, September 14, 2012 at his residence following a courageous battle with cancer. LeRoy was born February 27, 1956 in La Crosse, Wisconsin to LeRoy Sr. and Geraldine (Adams) Kiesling. On November 6, 1993, he was united in marriage to Cynthia M. Bushmaker in Vesper. LeRoy was employed as a journeyman plumber for 35 + years with Plumbers and Fitters Local 434 and worked in the construction trades for various general contractors and employers throughout Wisconsin. He loved the outdoors and was an avid gardener. LeRoy liked to fish and especially enjoyed fishing at the family?s boathouse as well as trips with his family and friends. He loved family gatherings, cherished spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed Packer games with family and friends. He was a great woodworker and shared his projects with family and friends. LeRoy was also a wonderful BBQ grill master, grilling year-round for everyday meals and family gatherings. LeRoy is survived by his wife, Cynthia; daughter, Andrea (Brian) Fukuda; grandchildren, Lily and Evan; his mother, Geraldine Hefti; siblings: John (Sharon) Kiesling, Mike (Beverly) Kiesling, Tom (Roxie) Kiesling, Nancy (Jim) Eggen, Jeff (Pam) Kiesling, Tim (Michelle) Kiesling, Susan (Bud) Brecht, Carrie Stoltz, Gary (Mary) Hefti and Nancy Muller; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews; many loving friends and family members; and his loving pets: ?Smoochie?, ?Bandit?, ?Jasper?, and ?Wilma?. He was preceded in death by his father, LeRoy Kiesling Sr., step-father, Harold W. Hefti, brother-in-law, Ray Muller, and grandparents Edmund Kiesling, Irene Bloom, and Harry and Ella Adams. A celebration of LeRoy?s life will be held at a later date. LeRoy?s family will be establishing a memorial in his name. Special thanks to the staff of Riverview Medical Center, Ministry Medical Group, Marshfield Clinic, St. Michael?s Hospital, and Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice for all of your care.
