Cori was born in Wisconsin Rapids on June 20, 1977 to Mark and Vonny (Kopelke) Flink. He is a 1995 graduate of Port Edwards High School. Cori had been employed as a laborer for a local farm.
Cori was a fun loving guy who loved to joke around. He had a big heart and loved his family dearly, especially enjoying being a big brother and a good uncle to his nieces and nephews. He savored every moment of his life the best he could as he was a survivor of leukemia and he did not want to miss out on anything. He also was a true redneck, enjoying many outdoor activities, such as mudding, hunting, trapping, and fishing (in summer and winter), and drinking Mountain Dew.
Cori is survived by his father, Mark (Linda Reeves) Flink, of Nekoosa; mother, Vonny (Mike) Rucker of Junction City; siblings: Mindy Kopelke, Misty Flink, Seth Furgason, Samantha (Coy) Russell; 11 nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Leon and Carol Flink; maternal grandparents, Yvonne and Pat Kopelke; and uncle, Glen Kopelke.
Cori?s energetic spirit will be missed by all who were fortunate to have been touched by him.
