Obituary of Maureen Malin

Maureen Ruth Malin, 92, of Wisconsin Rapids, died Friday morning, November 23, 2012 at Wisconsin Rapids Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Private family services will be held in spring at Calvary Cemetery in Wisconsin Rapids. Maureen was born September 14, 1920 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin to Leonard and Edith (Gavre) Habeck. She married Leonard Malin, with whom she had her family. Maureen worked as a secretary for the City of Wisconsin Rapids until her retirement. She enjoyed bingo, playing cards, and frequent trips to the casino. Maureen is survived by four children: James (Sharon) Malin, Richard Malin, Robert Malin, and David (Rosemarie) Malin; nine grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard and her son, Michael. Special thanks to Shawna O?Keefe, Justin Herman, and the staff of River Run. We also thank Fr. John Swing for the last rites and comfort to Mrs. Malin and her family.
