Obituary of Janet Heiser

Janet M. Heiser, 71, of 5649 Fisher Road, Town of Sigel, died Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at her residence. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 9th at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Rev. Timothy Wenger will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services on Saturday at the funeral home. Janet was born July 24, 1941 in Outagamie County, Wisconsin to Florence (Plantikow) Erdman. She married William J. Heiser Sr. on October 25, 1969 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Janet and Bill enjoyed farming in the Town of Sigel, where Janet tended to the animals and garden while Bill was working in the mill. Janet?s greatest joy was her family, especially her two grandsons. She liked to do crafting and needlework. Janet had a soft spot for the farm cats, and nurtured and took care of them and their young. Janet is survived by her son, Robert (Heather) Heiser and their two sons, Christopher and Brennen; her brothers: Kenneth (Dorothy) Erdman of Lodi and Daniel Erdman of Wisconsin Rapids; brother-in-law, Walter (Jay) Heiser, of the town of Sigel; and her sister-in-law, Ruth Moody of Nekoosa. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Florence Klevene.
