Obituary of William Heiser
William J. ?Billy? Heiser, Jr., 38, of 5649 Fisher Road, Town of Sigel, died Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at his residence.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 9th at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Rev. Timothy Wenger will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services on Saturday at the funeral home.
Billy was born March 5, 1974 in Marshfield to William and Janet (Erdman) Heiser Sr.
He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1992 and from the Universal Technical Institute in Chicago, Illinois. He worked for a brief time at Greg Ellious Motors as an auto mechanic. For the past 18 years, Billy was employed by Johnson and Sons Inc. as a Certified Master Mechanic.
Billy enjoyed being on the family farm in the town of Sigel and was especially fond of all of the animals on the farm. If there was an animal in need of help or nurturing, people always knew that Billy was the one to turn to. He was a skilled craftsman and enjoyed woodworking and made many turkey and duck calls. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish and also collected firearms. Billy was very mechanically inclined and enjoyed his job as a mechanic as well as
working on farming machinery.
Billy is survived by his brother, Robert (Heather) Heiser, and their two sons, Christopher and Brennen of the Town of Sigel; his uncles: Walter (Jay) Heiser of the town of Sigel, Kenneth (Dorothy) Erdman of Lodi, and Daniel Erdman of Wisconsin Rapids; his aunt, Ruth Moody of Nekoosa; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and uncle, Raymond Moody.
