Obituary of Vivian I. Lois
Vivian I. Lois, age 82, of Pardeeville, formerly of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at her home.
Services will be on 11:00 AM, Monday, June 20, 2016 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the time of services at the funeral home on Monday. Online condolences may be expressed at www.taylorfuneralhome.net.
Vivian was born on February 1, 1934 in Wisconsin Rapids to Harvey and Leona (Winter) Taschner. She was married to Donald Winkelman and later to Henry Lois, both marriages ended in divorce.
Vivian was a strong independent woman who managed to raise nine children as a single mother. She relished her role as mother and devoted her entire life to her children and grandchildren.
Vivian loved playing bingo. She collected Beanie Babies and Native American dolls. She enjoyed going to the Cracker Barrel Restaurant, so much that her kids never had to wonder what mom wanted for her birthday. They knew a gift card for her favorite spot would make her smile. Old Time Westerns were her favorite movies especially if they had John Wayne in them. Christmas was Vivian's most cherished time of year because it meant that she was able to see her beloved children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Vivian is survived by her children: Carolene Siddall, Karen (Dan) Brandl, Gene Winkelman, Rick (Faye) Winkelman, Sue (Gary) Kumm, Penny (Carl) Jennejohn, Cynthia (Terry) Gage, Pam (Tom) Hefty and Cheryl (Jim) Robinson; grandchildren: Paul (Jamie) Siddall Jr, Brian (Nikki) Siddall, Dawn Murphy, Kandy Revak, Scott (Laura) Johns Jr, Danny (Ashley) Brandl, Lena Dutton, Donald Winkelman, Joey Winkelman, Christie Winkelman, Heath (Leah) Winkelman, Jenny Kumm, Amy Kumm, Julie Wynn, Steve Jennejohn, Leona Gage, Jonathan Gage, Ryan Gage, Sean Gage, Laurie Gregor, Rachel Richmond, Jese Hefty, Brandon Robinson, Nicole Robinson and Cassie Robinson; great-grandchildren: Angel Siddall, Kallie Siddall, Brianna Siddall, Tasha Siddall, Dustin Siddall, Wyatt Navis, Jasmine Gage, Elizabeth Gage, Kaleb Gage, Devin Gregor, Matthew Gregor and Scottie Gregor; siblings: Jack Taschner, Don (Judy) Taschner, Mary (Roger) Rybicki and Bucky Taschner; nephew Harvey (Sandy) Kandler as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Gene Winkelman and sister Laura (Verl) Kandler.
