Obituary of Robert Behr

Robert (Bob) Behr, 83, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2013 after a brief illness. Bob was born on November 17, 1929. Bob Married Elizabeth Vandenberg on April 7, 1951 and they celebrated 62 years together. Bob had a wonderful sense of humor. He was hard working. He cared deeply for his family and friends. He was a loving, devoted husband and father. Bob was a truck driver for CW Transport until 1988. After that he operated a cleaning business serving local businesses. Bob was also a ministerial servant and a full time minister as a Jehovah?s Witness for 25 years. Bob is survived by his wife Elizabeth, and his sons Robert (Mary), Steve (Lynne), Jeff (Susan), Tom (Marsha); eight grand children and seven great-grand children. Bob is also survived by three sisters; Eunice, Evelyn and Betty. He was preceded in death by his mother Hulda, his father Willard and his brother Jerome. A memorial service will be held for Bob on Monday, May 27, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah?s Witnesses, 1432 32nd Street, Wisconsin Rapids, WI.
