Obituary of Virginia Narel

Virginia Mae Narel, 72, Town of Saratoga, Wisconsin, died early Monday, June 17, 2013 at Riverview Medical Center in Wisconsin Rapids. Services will be at 11:30 AM on Friday, June 21st at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Rev. Mary Lou Plummer will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM -7:00 PM on Thursday, June 20th and from 10:30 AM until the time of services on Friday at the funeral home. Virginia was born in Nekoosa, WI on December 30, 1940 to Gustave Carl and Esther Marie (Kehrberg) Kuhn. She married Louis F. Narel on October 26, 1960 in Milladore, WI. He died on June 19, 1993. Virginia was employed by Basic American Foods as a line worker until her retirement at the age of 65. Her pleasant demeanor and great sense of humor brought joy to those around her. Virginia loved her family and her grandchildren meant the world to her. She enjoyed going to baseball games with her brother, swimming at the Mead, playing cards, and working jigsaw and crossword puzzles. Survivors include her daughter-in-law: Marlene Narel; grandchildren: Dylan and Falen Narel; three brothers: Merwald ?Henry? Kuhn, Wisconsin Rapids; David (Mary Jane) Kuhn, Wisconsin Rapids; and Marvin (Joyce) Kehrberg, Wisconsin Rapids. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Louis, son, Steven Narel, daughter, Lisa Narel, and infant grandson, Damien Narel.
