Obituary of Irene Brandt

Irene M. Brandt, 96, Wisconsin Rapids, died June 25, 2013 at her residence. Graveside committal services have taken place at Forest Hill Cemetery. Irene was born in Wisconsin Rapids on March 3, 1917 to Henry and Johanna (Eichner) Brown. She married Wilbur Brandt on January 23, 1938. He died on June 21, 2006. Irene was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church Mother?s Club. In her free time Irene loved tending to her flower garden. She is survived by one son: Larry (Katie) Brandt; and two grandsons: Timothy and Kevin Brandt, both of California. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wilbur; one son, William; two sisters: Marion Brown and Loretta Gedemer; five brothers: Edward, Robert, George, John, and Harold Brown; and several nieces and nephews.
