As a nurse at Riverview, I've had several interractions with Germaine. Though we were on different shifts, we all knew that her patients were treated with compassion and love. Germaine will be missed. May God grant Germaine and her family peace.Rich R.

I was blessed to work with Germaine at RVH. She was the most efficient, caring CNA! Any patient that had her had the very BEST, and the Drs knew the pt was in good hands. Germaine, rest, now, You created a Legacy here!!!! I will miss you at GW and IGA.

I will never forget Germaine! I had my son in June of 1980, and that is the first time I met her. She took wonderful care of me, helped me so much with my new son, and we stayed friends from then on. She would come through my line at the store, and we always had so much to talk about. My son is now 33 years old, and every time I think of his birth, I think of Germaine. What a wonderful, caring person she was! She had a real talent for taking care of people.

Germaine took care of me the first time I was ever hospitalized. She was kind, caring, knowledgeable, and always patient. After having countless other surgeries, none of the others caring for me ever matched her level of care. Many times when hospital care was ever discussed with friends and family, her name was brought up. May her many memories and blessings help you in this time of sorrow.

Germaine was a mentor to countless CNAs and future nurses. I worked side by side with her for many years. It was hard keeping up with her. If you looked hard, you could see the angel wings that she is surely wearing now. I'm sure she's already scouting around to find someone to care for up in heaven.
