Obituary of Inez Anderson

Inez Lois Anderson (nee Schneidewent), 83, died peacefully Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at St. Clare Meadows in Baraboo, Wisconsin. Services will be at 5:00 P.M. on Friday, August 9th at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 2201 Chestnut Street, Wisconsin Rapids. Rev. Douglas Schalow will officiate. Visitation will be from 3:30 P.M. until the time of services on Friday at the funeral home. Inez was born January 27, 1930 in the town of Larabee, Waupaca County, WI, the youngest of twelve children born to Wilhelm Carl and Artie (Pence) Schneidewent. Inez was united in marriage to Earl R. Anderson on June 2, 1950 in Edgerton, Wisconsin. The couple was blessed with thirty seven years of marriage and five children. Earl died on May 3, 1987. Inez and Earl farmed and raised tobacco around the Stoughton, Lake Mills, and Fort Atkinson areas. Survivors include her children: Russell (Kathy) Anderson, Wisconsin Rapids; Lynnette Anderson, Baraboo; Duane (Teressa) Anderson, Baraboo; Ralph (Mary) Anderson, Wisconsin Rapids; and JoAnn (Carl, Jr.) Hoff, Portage; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Earl, seven brothers and four sisters. Inez inspired her family and all who knew her with her beautiful, sweet smile, infinite spirituality, compassion, kindness, and love, and will be so missed.
