Obituary of Nancy Green

Nancy Ilene Green, 57, Wisconsin Rapids, died Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Ministry Saint Joseph?s Hospital in Marshfield. Services will be at 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 20th at Abundant Life Tabernacle, 3320 Griffith Avenue, Wisconsin Rapids. Rev. Nathan Byes will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at the church. Nancy was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 18, 1956 to Norman and Miriam (Wiener) Green. Nancy was a vivacious, strong willed, good hearted woman who loved being a homemaker and taking care of her family. She was always there for anyone who needed a hand. Her grandchildren were the light of her heart. She adored them, and had a special bond with each one of them. She also loved animals. A few of her favorite things were skeet shooting, cooking, gardening, and Harley Davidson motorcycles. Survivors include three daughters: Cynthia Thomas, Heather Waltemath and Christene Pearson; one son, Robert Pearson; three granddaughters: Carissa Thomas, Layna Waltemath, and Haley Day; grandson: Mason Waltemath; sister, Rochelle Browne and her best friend, Pam Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents. Herman-Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Center is assisting the family with arrangements. A special thank you to Pastor Nathan and Kay Byes and Deb and Dave Broschardt for all their loving care and concern for Nancy and her family.
