Obituary of Diana Sherwood

Diana A. Sherwood, 60, of Wisconsin Rapids, died Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 21st at Christian Life Fellowship in Port Edwards. Rev. Dean Anderson will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services on Wednesday at the church. Diana was born September 3, 1952 in Chicago, IL to Robert and Harriet (Landenthin) Degand. She married Rick Sherwood on February 14, 2013 in Wisconsin Rapids. Diana worked as a housekeeper at Riverview Hospital for 16 years until her retirement. Survivors include her husband, Rick; parents, Harriet (Martin) Mendelson of Marshfield and Robert (June) Degand of Florida; sister, Christine Degand of Montana; brother, Robert Degand, Florida; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, two uncles, and a nephew. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to a memorial fund the family will be establishing in Diana?s memory. Herman-Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Center is assisting the family.
