Obituary of Carlos Maez

Carlos Marcos Maez, 76, of Wisconsin Rapids, died Friday, August 30, 2013, at Strawberry Lane Medical and Rehabilitation Center in Wisconsin Rapids. Carlos was born November 21, 1936 in Tucumcari, New Mexico, to D.A. and Stella (Griago) Maez. He married Susan Perrodin on May 4, 1963 in Juarez, Mexico. Carlos and Susan lived in the Delavan, Wisconsin area while Carlos was employed by the Firestone Tire Company. He retired after 40 years of service. Carlos served his country in the United States Army from 1960-1962. Carlos is survived by his wife, Susan Maez of Wisconsin Rapids and many other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date on the ranch in New Mexico where Carlos grew up. Herman-Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Wisconsin Rapids is assisting the family.
