Obituary of Ronald Lee Tyler
Ronald ?Unk? Lee Tyler, 74, Vesper, WI died Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Services will be at 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 19th at Trinity Lutheran Church in Vesper. Rev. Douglas Schalow will officiate. Burial with military rites will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Hansen. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services on Saturday at the church.
Ronald was born in Vesper, WI on September 26, 1939 to Jack and Marion (Hunter) Tyler. He married Dorothy Schiller on August 23, 1969 in Vesper. Dorothy died on August 14, 2013.
Ronald worked for Kerry Ingredients in Vesper, retiring after 43 years of service.
He served his country in the United States Army in the 1960?s and was stationed in Germany. He was a member of the Vesper American Legion post.
Ronald was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time at his cottage on Pelican Lake. He also enjoyed playing cards and the companionship of his dog, Quennie.
Survivors include four siblings: Louise Whaples, Philips, WI; Donna Duda, Kenosha, WI; James Tyler, Lake Tomahawk, WI and Nancy (Bernard) Schoultz, Wisconsin Rapids, WI; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dorothy; brothers, John and Donald Tyler; sister, Catherine Roth.
A memorial will be established at a later date.
Herman-Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Center is assisting the family with arrangements.
