Ellen and Family,Joel and I were so saddened to hear of Don's passing. He was such a fine person and so much fun to be around. He was a great husband and father and friend. He will be greatly missed by many. In reminiscining tonight we had some laughs also about some of the fun times we had together, like when Don and Joel would have to sit out of the broomball games for "high sticking". My condolences to the Risley Family. I met Don through work, but became friends. Although we didn't spend a lot of time together, I will always respect his kindness, his stories, his honesty and his humor. I will miss Don and his friendship.

Bob, Jan and Ann, I was shocked to see the news of Don's passing. I remember our family gatherings in Madison and area when we were children. I will tell Mom, Doris (Shadel) Brinson, who at 93 lives in memory care in Monona. Also, my brothers Dave and Darrel. I believe that I have at least one photo of your grandfather as a young man.
