Obituary of Estelle Harcinske

Estelle Harcinske, age 88, Town of Grand Rapids, died Friday, November 15, 2013 at Edgewater Haven Nursing Home in Port Edwards. Private family services were held at Forest Hill Mausoleum. Estelle was born in the Town of Sigel, Wood County, Wisconsin on February 5, 1925 to Adam and Eva (Peterson) Klonowski. She married Carl Harcinske on October 9, 1948 in the Town of Sigel. He died April 21, 2001. Estelle attended Pleasant View School, and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1942. She also completed many courses at Mid-State Technical College and various University of Wisconsin campuses. Estelle worked for Consolidated Papers, Inc. for more than twenty years, retiring from the Employee Benefits Section in 1987. Surviving are sons: John of Mitchell, South Dakota and Tom of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; daughter: Mary of Silver City, New Mexico; granddaughter: Christine of Reno, Nevada; and sister-in-law: Joyce Klonowski of Rudolph, WI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; brother, John A. Klonowski; and sister-in-law, Leona Hanifin. Herman-Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Center is assisting the family with arrangements.
