Obituary of Bonnie Gyrion
Bonnie Ione Gyrion, 56, Wisconsin Rapids, passed away Wednesday morning, November 20, 2013 at Riverview Medical Center in Wisconsin Rapids.
Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, November 25th at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Rev. Douglas Schalow will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5P.M. to 7 P.M. on Sunday, November 24th and from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services on Monday, all at the funeral home.
Bonnie was born in Wisconsin Rapids on October 18, 1957 to Ronald and Mildred (Swartout) Sweeney. She married the love of her life, Gary Gyrion on September 24, 1983.
Bonnie enjoyed taking care of her home and her family. Her strong will enabled her to not only deal with MS for the last 20 years but to overcome it and live her life to the fullest. Bonnie had a very caring spirit and was very family oriented, especially for her grandchildren. She loved listening to the radio and playing ?bonus key words? and other audio games, cooking, playing bingo, and going to the casino. Bonnie always looked forward to going to the Marshfield fair with her family, enjoying the good food and attending the concerts.
Survivors include her loving husband, Gary; daughter: Shannon (Bill) Goodenough; two grandsons: Austin and Logan Goodenough; sister: Patty Sweeney; step-father: Malcolm Bergan, all of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; half-brother: Tim Sweeney, Spencer, WI; and faithful companion, her dog ?Buffy?. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Bergan, father, Ronald Sweeney, and sister, Leaett Sweeney.
