Obituary of Keith LeRoy Starkey

Keith L. Starkey, 70, Wisconsin Rapids, died Tuesday afternoon, November 26, 2013 at Strawberry Lane Medical and Rehabilitation Center. Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 30th at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services on Saturday at the funeral home. Keith was born in Milford, Illinois on September 29, 1943 to Floyd and Agnes (Sinclair) Starkey. Keith was a maintenance worker for mobile home parks in both Illinois and Wisconsin. He most recently cared for the Thousand Oaks Mobile Home Park in Wisconsin Rapids. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Keith enjoyed being outdoors, going fishing, farming, or working on old cars. He was a very generous, kind hearted man who was always willing to lend a helping hand to others. Survivors include two children: Ron (Becky) Starkey; Ken (Jamie) Starkey, all of Wisconsin Rapids; six grandchildren: Brandon, Katelyn, James, Karen, Mercedes, and Ken Jr.; one brother: Francis Starkey, Urbana, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Floyd, and his sister Nora.
