Obituary of Harvey Olson

Harvey J. Olson, 81, Village of Biron, Wisconsin, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Ministry Saint Joseph?s Hospital in Marshfield. Services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 5th at Hancock Cemetery. Pastor Milt Duntley will officiate. There will be no visitation. Harvey was born in the Village of Biron, WI to John E. and Laura (Brahmstead) Olson. He married Annabelle Fay on May 23, 1953 in Wisconsin Rapids. She died on February 17, 2005. Harvey was employed at Fischer Dairy and Glebke Dairy until moving to Washington State in 1977 where he worked for Harrison Memorial Hospital. In 1991 Harvey and Annabelle moved back to Wisconsin to care for his father. Harvey enjoyed hunting, reading, gardening, and going to thrift shops. He truly enjoyed the time he spent with his family. Survivors include three sons: Randel (Maggie) of Port Washington; David (Sandra) of Pittsville; and Loren of Wisconsin Rapids; five grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; one sister: Karen (Ronald) Hofschild of Onalaska, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and a grandson. Herman-Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Center is assisting the family with arrangements.
