Obituary of Marlene McCarthy

Marlene ?Chuckie? J. McCarthy, 77, Wisconsin Rapids, died Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Strawberry Lane Medical and Rehabilitation Center. Graveside services will be on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Marlene was born in Wisconsin Rapids, WI on May 1, 1936 to William H. and Dora (Westover) McCarthy Sr. Marlene was employed by Consolidated Papers, Inc. in the Converting Department. She worked there for 40 years until her retirement in 1994. Marlene was an avid NASCAR, Packer and Badger fan. She enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling, and pontoon boating. Survivors include five sisters: Donna McCarthy, Beverly Kedrowski and Thea (Tom) Provost, all of Wisconsin Rapids; Phyllis McCarthy and Nancy Smith of Nekoosa; three brothers: William (Karen) McCarthy Jr., Vesper; Dennis McCarthy, King, WI; and Ronald (Donna) McCarthy, Nekoosa; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Neoma (Jack) Bruner, brother Timothy McCarthy and two nieces and two nephews.
